Background & Role
As Platform Engineer ARAS PLM, you will join the global and dynamic Enterprise Business Solutions team.
You can work from home or in one of our European locations, giving you great flexibility to excel in your work.
Kendrion embraces the cutting-edge ARAS Innovator PLM platform to streamline global operations and support our expanding product portfolio.
You will manage the technical aspects of the new platform's operations, participate as a technical advisor to the project and business users, and adjust the system as approved by the PLM steering committee.
Location
This role can be based at any of Kendrion's European locations or can be fully remote. Part-time options (80%-100%) are also available.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and implement Aras Innovator customizations and configurations using API and development tools
- Manage Bill of Materials and Products Structures synchronization and interface architecture between ARAS Innovator and IFS ERP systems
- Maintain and optimize Aras Innovator data models, BOMs & workflows
- Supporting and maintaining CAD and Office Connector, Watermarking, document management & Change Management solutions or processes
- Managing users, roles and permissions
- Develop custom reports and dashboards in Aras Innovator using SQL, AML and JavaScript
- Implement and enforce development standards (code reviews, CI/CD)
- Provide guidance and support to business users on Aras Innovator features and PLM best practices
Skills & Knowledge
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in ARAS Innovator platform administration and customization
- Familiarity with different PLM systems, CAD tools and variant management systems to support integration or migration projects
- Strong SQL skills and experience with production-grade database manipulation
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience with Boomi Solutions or similar middleware integration platforms
- Knowledge of other PLM platforms, specifically Agile and Profile
- Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience in conducting user training sessions and workshops
- Proficiency in any Kendrion location languages is a plus
